Finding paid work for your blog can be hard at the best of times, but especially these days now there are so many blogs around. You might be lucky and have agencies and brands contacting you directly but incase you don’t, below are some of the better places to find blogger opportunities for paid work. You just need to get creative when looking for work, and don’t rely on people contacting you. There are so many other bloggers that it can be easy to be missed by brands and PR agencies. Make your work from home dream a reality. In a nutshell, get hustling when you first start out! Make brands want to work with you.
Working From Home
Blogging can be an amazing way to make money working from home if you know where to look. Whether blogging is your full time job, or a side hustle to make a few extra pennies. All you really need to do is start a blog and start creating engaging content that people want to come to your blog to read about. Whether that’s content on how to save money. Where to find the best eco-friendly products. Or perhaps you want to share your parenting skills with other parents. You just need to be passionate on what you’re writing about. If you’re a writer blogger making great content, the people will come – as will the money!
Concentrate On Your Blog Metrics
When you first start your blog, instead of wasting your time looking for paid work, concentrate on building up your metrics instead. Things like your domain authority and filling your blog with great content – you are a writer blogger after all! Then you can start applying for paid blogging opportunities. Once your domain authority is at least DA10, this would be a good time to start looking for paid work. Anything under this and brands are unlikely to want to work with such a new blog.
Living In The UK
If you live in the UK, make sure you disclose any paid for work as sponsored somewhere either in the social media post #AD, or in your blog posts. Not doing so is illegal so you could end up getting fined.
Also, being from the UK myself, i have tried and tested most of the paid blogging websites below so they should be fine for you as well.
Be Patient
It can often take a few months to get work from some of these websites so be patient and keep checking their website for opportunities. It also depends on your price and metrics of your website so if you aren’t getting work, perhaps revisit your fees.
There are some of the below websites that i have not yet worked with as i have only just signed up myself. Even though i can’t vouch for them, i wanted to give you as many websites to look for paid work as i could. So, do your research if you’re unsure about working with any of them.
It’s worth signing up to as many of these websites as you can as you never know when you might just get paid for some work that comes your way. Blogging can be a great way to make some extra money working from home, you just need some patience.

Get Blogged take a 12.5% cut from any work you complete through their platform. Plus you’ll also have a PayPal fee taken off your pay, so take this into account when you pitch to brands.

Collabs On Instagram
It’s a little different when looking for paid work on Instagram. My advice would be to follow PR agency accounts and interact with them to get noticed. It’s a long shot but i have made some great connections this way.
