The learning process definitely doesn’t end when you reach 30, but here are just a few of some of the things you may have learned by this point.

Many people think that there’s a cut off date or age for certain jobs, when this is simply not the case. It’s important to remember that it’s never too late to achieve your goals and aim for the career you’re truly passionate about.
You’re More Financially Responsible
Your 20’s usually involve learning how to ‘adult’ and part of this is learning how to manage your finances properly. In your 20’s, money is more about being able to save enough for an awesome holiday, going travelling, or buying your first car.
However, when you hit 30, you usually realise you’re a lot more financially savvy and responsible than you were a couple of years ago. You’ve probably had a mortgage to pay for, perhaps you have a few children to look after, then there’s the general running of your home, with SOO many bills to pay!
In your 30’s, something as simple as being able to save a few pounds here and there on being a savvy food shopper brings you so much joy!

You Don’t Care About Others Opinions Of You
During your late twenties and early 30’s you realise that it doesn’t really matter what people think.
First impressions do matter in situations such as interviews. However, the need to please everyone you meet in life often subsides as you get older.
Your Looks Have Changed
The way you look is inevitably going to change as you get older. This may be due to losing weight, growing taller or thinning hair. In some cases, these changes can affect your self-esteem, so it’s best to try and find a solution early on.
If you’ve lost hair as a result of pregnancy, stress or pattern baldness you may be eligible for a hair transplant. Crown Clinic is a leading hair transplant clinic and has helped many people get their confidence back.
Alternatively, if you’ve gained or lost weight, it may be worth analysing your diet and exercise routine. You can do this yourself or with a personal trainer or dietician; whichever method you choose ensure you’re getting the right information to help you work towards an achievable solution.

You’ve Learnt To Forgive & Forget
At 30, many people realise that many of the enemies they’ve made over the years were due to simply being immature.
By this point, you’ve learnt how to forgive and forget minor disagreements. This can lift a weight off your shoulders and give you more time to work on mending the friendship.
You’ve Realised Your Worth
Gone are the days of thinking you’re not good enough. 30 is the time to realise that you’ve got a wealth of worldly experience on your back and you are good enough. In fact you’re more than good enough.
This is an important mentality to develop. It gives you the push approach new situations, relationships and roles with confidence and teaches you not to get down if things don’t work out.
You’ve Learnt How To Have Fun
In your twenties maybe you shied away from going to a party because you didn’t know anyone. Or refraining from trying new things because of the fear of the unknown.
Now you’ve hit 30 you’ve realised that you’re having way more fun than ever before. You’ve learnt to stop worrying and start enjoying everything that life has to throw at you.
You’re Less Materialistic
It can be easy to fall into the trap of materialism when you’re in your 20s. Meeting new people and wanting to fit in can lead to you holding value in things rather than people.
However, you’ll soon realise there is much more value in experiences, memories, friendships and love, rather than expensive objects.
In fact, i’m now in my late 30’s and the less ‘stuff’ i have, the happier i feel. I have the things that are important to me and that’s all i need.
I’ve perfected my skincare routine and now only use the essentials. I have my favourite facial exfoliator, body wash and face cream. I’ve also come to realise that switching between brands often is NOT a good thing for your skin. Find one you really love and stick to it, your skin will thank you for doing so! The more natural the skincare the better as well so check the labels of your favourite cosmetics brand.
Money Does NOT Equal Happiness
If someone had told you this in your 20s you would’ve thought that they were crazy. However, once you reach your 30s you realise that this famous saying often rings true.
In some cases, money can make life easier but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re happier. Your 30s are the time to discover what really makes you happy and start chasing that rather than chasing a bigger pay cheque.
