That Protein – Vegan Protein Powder
If you’re looking for a plant based protein powder that isn’t grainy, then you might just love this one as much as i do. As it’s filled with vitamins and minerals, it isn’t super sweet and it’s perfect as a shake, in your porridge, smoothie or overnight oats for an extra protein boost. You could even try topping off your porridge or overnight oats with a drizzle of almond butter and using almond milk instead of water to make it extra protein rich.
I love to mix the chocolate powder with either the peanut or the mocha powder. This creates a super flavour combo in my morning porridge because they taste so damn good!

Koro Vegan Protein Bars
Koro vegan protein bars taste great, a bit like a mars bar in taste and texture – apart from the topping. These protein bars are a little more expensive when compared to most other plant-based protein bars. The best vegan snack if you have a sweet tooth.
However, you can cut them in half to have a smaller portion and make a box last longer. Half a bar is plenty to have as a protein snack to keep you topped up until lunch or dinner. Plus, they are quite sweet so you might not want an entire bar in one go.

Protein Pea Puffs
If sweet protein shakes and bars aren’t really your thing, perhaps these protein packed pea puffs might be.
Looks and texture wise, they are the same as Wotsits (crisps), just without that strong cheesy taste. Instead they are more plain and salty. They come in a large share bag so you would need to decant them into smaller portions if you wanted to take them out anywhere with you.
However, they are the ideal healthy protein snack as you get 21 grams of protein per 100 grams, which is amazing! Personally, i love to have a handful of these at lunch with a sandwich, or avocado wrap to bump up the protein slightly.

These plant-based protein sachets from Reflex Nutrition can be added to milk or water to have as a protein shake. You can buy them in larger bags, however, the sachets are ideal if you haven’t tried them before.
Once you know which is your flavour choice, buying the bigger bag is more cost effective. However, the sachets are great to have on the go, or if you plan to go away on holiday.
Unlike some vegan protein powders, the Reflex Nutrition protein powders aren’t grainy, especially if you add it to milk instead of water. Adding it to milk does make it slightly sweeter, but you could always use half a portion at a time, or top it up with water to reduce the sweetness. Buy Here.

Sunburst Dry Roasted Almonds
Possibly an odd addition to the list as technically it isn’t a snack. However, these dry roasted almonds are one of the best sources of plant based protein with a whopping 24.8 grams of protein per 100 grams.
OK, so you might not want to have 100 rams of nuts, but a small handful here and there is a great way to top up your overall protein intake throughout the day.
Plus, with only two ingredients (almonds & salt) you can’t get much more natural than that as a healthy snack.
