The vegan world seems to have exploded over the last few years with more and more people turning to a vegan way of life. Yet somehow, vegan snacks are still quite often hard to come by, especially in some UK supermarkets. It seems us Brits are a little slower than that of other countries to get on the vegan train. If you’re looking for. quick bite, or snack whilst out and about, you often have to look high and low and really read the labels!
Some of the best vegan snacks are obviously fruits and vegetables. However, we sometimes want something a little different or more interesting. You could even start home growing your very own goodies! If you do, check out the book gardening to eat. It’s a really informative book to get you started on your growing journey.
However, if you’re just looking for some tasty, quick vegan snacks to keep you going here are a few great ones…
Karma Bites
If you love popcorn, you’ll love these tasty vegan snacks from Karma Bites. They’re just like popcorn, only much healthier for you. They are made from popped lotus seeds which are full of minerals and nutrients – unlike normal popcorn.
There are 5 different flavours available – caramel, wasabi, peri peri, coconut & vanilla and Himalayan salt. Something for everyones tastes! You can find them sold on places such as – Amazon, Ocado, Holland & Barrett and Planet Organic at around £1.30 per bag.

FATSO
Fatso have 4 different flavour chocolate bars – 3 being vegan…
- Mint, pistachio & cacao nibs
- Cornflake, toast & marmalade
- Peanut, toffee, digestive biscuit
- Salted pretzel, honeycomb & whole almonds
My personal favourite is the mint and pistachio bar, however my husband loves the salted pretzel and honeycomb – mainly because it’s quite salty.
The chocolate itself is delicious and creamy – even the vegan ones. The chunkiness of the bar reminds me of the original yorkie bars before they were downsized. So, if you love a good meaty chunk of chocolate then these could be ideal!
Each bar is £6.50, or you can get the 3 bundle for £19.50 or the 4 bundle for £26.00.

Great British Biscotti
These Great British Biscotti bites are incredible! You can either get them in bags, or as single serve portions – perfect as a little snack to curb your sweet or savoury tooth. Yep, you can actually get savoury biscotti! Sun dried tomato & olive, Jalapeno & Cheddar, Cheddar & Fennel andChorizo & Cheddar. They’re amazing for dipping in to soups as large croutons. Or you could have them with a bit of vegan cheese and relish – my favourite!
Then you’ve got all these delicious sweet options as well! Simply Almond, Chunky Belgian Choc, White chocolate, Cranberries & Pistachio and Chocolate Orange. My favourite has to be the simply almond one. It’s sweet without being too much, although they’re all amazing to be honest.

Bad Brownie Bites
OK, so we didn’t say all of these vegan snacks would be healthy options! These vegan brownie bites from Bad Brownie are amazing, especially if you have a sweet tooth. You would never know they were vegan at all. They taste every bit as good as the real deal.
You can get a box of 12 bites from £14.50 and they come in – Oreo, After8, Biscoff, Salted Caramel, Choc Chip and Chocolate Orange flavours depending on the box size you go for.

Homemade Bakes
OK, so you have to make these yourself first – or get some one to make them for you. But they’re very simple and easy to make and super low in calories too! Check out the recipe for these vegan ginger biscuits if you fancy giving them a try yourself. If you love ginger, you’ll love these!
