If you’re looking for something a little more active, then perhaps you could spend the day, or afternoon at a Go Ape facility. Swing from the trees, walk in the woods, or even have a go on a segway.

Of course, don’t just go randomly picking berries from bushes as many will be poisonous. However, see if you can find a fruit farm to visit in your area. You could even make a jam, or pie out of your hoard!

Make A Bug Hotel
Make the bugs in your garden feel welcome and at home by creating their very own bug hotel. All you need are some old bits of wood and twigs, perhaps a broken bit of a garden pot. Pile it all up in an out of the way spot in your garden and see who comes to stay.
Hang A Bird Feeder In Your Garden
The birds will love you for hanging up a bird feeder in your garden. It might take a day or two for them to come, but they will! I wonder how many varieties of birds you will have come to visit?
Go Bird Watching
Take a bird book with you, or perhaps just your phone and a pair of binoculars and see how many varieties of birds you can find on your travels.

Swim In The Sea
Can you brave the cold and go for a swim in the sea? Of course, make sure it’s safe to do so!
Feed The Ducks
Make sure you feed the ducks with the right foods! Apparently bread isn’t all that great for them so do some research before you go feeding them things that could hurt them. Also, make sure it’s OK to feed them before doing so, although there should be signs up if it’s not OK.
Find A New Nature Trail
This could be a biking trail to go exploring on in your area. Or, perhaps a trail that the kids would enjoy. Even just somewhere to go walking, just make sure it’s somewhere you haven’t been before.
Go For A Picnic
Wit all this nice weather we’ve been having, why not envelope yourself in nature by having a lovely picnic. Great to do with the kids if you take some outdoor games, as a romantic date with your partner, or as something a little different to do with friends.
Go For A Walk In The Rain
Get yourself into some waterproof gear, stick your wellies on and go and enjoy a walk in the rain. You could even jump in some puddles if you really wanted to bring out your inner child.
Exercise Outside
Forget the gym for a day and do your daily exercise outside instead. Follow a Youtube workout video, or just make something up as you go. Get the heart pumping while you go wild in nature.

Watch A Sunset Or Sunrise
Depending on whether you’re a morning person, or a bit of a night owl, you could watch the sunrise or set for todays 30 days of wild ideas. Grab yourself a blanket and a mug of hot chocolate and watch it rise, or set as the birds chirp away in the background.
Plant Wildflowers
We really can’t do enough to help the bees and the insects more than by planting wild flowers, or sowing seeds for them to enjoy. Without bees and insects there would be no human life so we really do owe them everything!
