When the day begins and ends, before we can get anything done, we often count how many hours we lost procrastinating over a task or browsing our several social media accounts. Often we can become panicked or hesitant when a deadline is near, giving us the feeling of being overwhelmed and that time is against us. These tips will help you to manage your time better. Which will get you more organised and increase productivity levels throughout the day.
Create a To-Do List
One way of staying organised and to increase productivity is by creating and maintaining a to-do list. This will help by prioritising activities by the highest importance or the due date. Once these activities are accomplish you can simply stick it off or cross over it. To-do list are an excellent way of remembering all your task to be done.
Avoid Distractions
This is especially true if you are someone who works from home as it can be so easy to ‘quickly’ check your phone or put the tv on. Anything that distracts us from our task can be a huge time killer. Start by identifying the things that tend to distract you from your task and move them out of sight. Also schedule regular breaks, 10-20 minutes to rejuvenate yourself.
Use a Scheduler
A scheduler is a great way of keeping track of tasks at hand and with time management. Especially if you have lots of things on the go in different areas of your job/life. Jot down your daily, weekly or monthly tasks in your smartphone and/or email calendar. Set the task and when you need a reminder and you’ll get a notification until the task is accomplish. Using a scheduler also helps to have an overview of all activities, and the amount of free time available.

Schedulers are great if you have lots of different social media platforms to manage on a daily basis. It can be such a nightmare trying to keep on top of them all. So whether you’re a social media influencer, or a social media lover, a scheduler will save you so much time.

If your mind is not focus you will end up making mistakes. Ensure your mind is on your work is, so you’re able to stay focussed on the task at hand.
Don’t Forget to Eat
Start the day by eating a well-balanced meal. Eating breakfast will help you to start the day with plenty energy. Invest in meal planning, stay away from junk food, drink more water and exercise more. Often times the workload becomes so heavy that we forget to eat or cook a proper meal. So we end up eating microwave dinner or unhealthy snacks to save time.
The most important key to staying organised and productive is keeping our eyes on the goal. The goal that we want to accomplish to be where we want to be in life.
